ABOUT US

Aware Marketing is a Legal Marketing agency, owned by Carl Waring, who qualified as a solicitor over 30 years ago. He was a partner in two law firms before taking the plunge and setting up his own practice from scratch in 1994. Within only two years it was a respected, thriving personal injury litigation practice and went on to have offices in London and Manchester, before Carl sold his majority share to his partners in 2004.

Carl then set up businesses as diverse as an online rare bookshop and a boutique cricket bat company. However, he always kept ‘one foot’ in the legal profession and co-owned a claims management company in the north east, as well as working in short term consultant solicitor roles for a number of solicitors’ firms, from time to time.

Throughout all this time, Carl has been writing legal blogs and legal content for a variety of online and print law publications, having started to develop a passion for legal writing some 10 years ago. Carl writes for lawyers, but in reality, he is writing for their would-be clients. His blend of practical legal experience and knowledge of how to attract clients to a legal practice, combine perfectly with his copywriting skills to produce engaging and informative legal blogs, website copy, newsletters and press releases for lawyers.
